It has been indeed a long long haitus on my part and I do apologize for it . . I guess this is what maketh a short distance runner when compared to the marathoners.
Well I am back with some interesting news..

The MSS Anniversary held at the school was indeed a very fun and rewarding afternoon . Going back to the school and seeing your name on the register books dating back to 1972 is beyond words. Seeing your names there neatly lined up with your friends names is simply breathless. Cool ya. Remembering the times you just step into Methodist Secondary school .. We could find all the names there together with a lucky number next to it .. I think Sea Ping struck first prize that night .. That is why he disappear after the anniversary . When you see a sudden ambiguous donation for RM 500,000 for the new building fund you will know where it came from .. Lim Sea Ping lucky number 2366.
Tasan , now you have to have a speed dial for SP number . You can drop mine for now.
There was also the stacks of LCE and MCE(missing after Tasan found out his results were there to be shown publicly). It was a rewarding trip meeting up with the other classes., knowing what the other groups did for the school was very encouraging … Class of 1972 donated 400 tables and chairs ( quality ones) and RM 25k or more. Class of 1975 donated RM 35k , Class of 1977 donated RM 11k + personal donations from LeeCheng, YenKeong, Amy, Tasan and myself totalled RM 33k+ ) Well all these have found thier rightfull deeds that benefited our school and the teachers and students. It is our wish that all these will trigger more cluster groups to start working with thier friend collegues and to reach out to the helping hands to do thier bit for education of the school you came from. Break out of the box . draw no borders that you have to be a MSS boy and girl in order to help the school. Break the paradigm that it is for your school … BUT IT IS FOR EDUCATION of a Truly ONE MALAYSIA School .
To build the school for 2 million ( 3 storey building ) is not a task too difficult to achieve. I concur with tasan that this is a small feat but it is a starting point to show that what the school did for us , we can do in return to bring up better students into the society . We need to step up . SO I hope my dear friends allof you will start cranking and do your bit . .. I assure you yoru deeds will not go unnoticed and you shall be beaming proud that you did more than your share .

In the coming mails we shall share how we can all work together to help this magnimous task . And i certainly hope all of you will share your thoughts ( And a confined amount of jokes ) to make this matter a group effort .

After the walk about , we adjourned to a sumptious lunch which our host MR LOW YEN KEONG paid for .. .. Very good food . value for money food .. nothing likethis you can get in KL. only SS mali punya got this type la… Thanks YK for the treat.. The next time you come to KL we will show you our generousity as host and bring you to Jalan Alor. ( For the food only la ) . Tasan also invited together ..

Then after that is all hear say …

There was a durian party held at Yen keong’s house. Durians were compliments of YK . Then there was search for the cuttle fish and kangkong .. ( Rose,, the store is next to Lock Koong …Ask Poh Lin , she knows it best because the owner is her nephew.! ) But no discount la.. pricey stuff but that is special for you KL folks .. if not expensive enough will not taste good..
I also understand failingto locate the slimy stuff they decided to drop by at Kanthan for Hor Fun ? First time I know about this .. I am sure hopeful Rose will bring me there one day . she seem to know all the lobang lobang for food in SS. I guess it is all that cycling around when she was young and surely with those dark round spectacles no one could recognise her no matter how many plates she ate…

It was indeed a herat day for all. met up with Sharipah .. she asked of her good friends like Kay Keng and Poh Lin … Poh Lin mentioned after that She missed Sharipah mum’s kueh mueh… Suppose to be best in malaysia some say even better than Singapour… huh Dont play pplay ..

GUYS and GIRLS .. so lets gather up and get this going again ..

For your information .. We just got word that Teh Yoke Yun is going to be back in Singapore, KL and SS mid November till early Dec.. So we may try to catch up with her in a gathering . a smaller one .. so that can keh po keh po a bit .. any one interested please drop a line ..
